This listing is for ONE hand sculpted ceramic stitch marker (cone 6 clay, not polymer clay) packaged ready for gifting in a little glass jar with cork topper. The stitch marker is inserted into the cork topper with an additional piece of wire for easy removal. The glass jar can be used to store the stitch marker after use, or repurposed if you plan to keep your stitch marker in a notions pouch (ps: it's perfect for one little portion of tea).
Please note: these little tubes are individually hand sculpted, hand painted and glazed. They are not made from a mold, and have hand made characteristics. Each one is completely unique unlike those made in a mold. I try my best to capture the true colour of the items in photographs, but please be aware that colours may appear different on each monitor/screen. The size, shape and handpainted dots may vary from the one in the photos.
Descriptions: The toadstool is around 1/2" tall and 3/8" wide (again, each one varies). It is attached to a flexible wire loop that will fit up to a 6mm needle. The stitch marker weighs approximately 2 grams. The cap of the mushroom has been hand painted in red underglaze with little white dots added and then the mushroom bead has been glazed in a shiny clear glaze to show off the finish and the natural clay colour of the mushroom stem. The glass bottle is 1 1/2" tall (1 3/4" with the cork inserted) and 3/4" diameter. The cork is unfinished/untreated. The bottom of the jar has little pieces of handspun dark green yarn to mimic grass.
Note: the shipping is rather pricey on just one little stitch marker but several can ship for the same price. It can be more cost effective to buy extra as gifts at the same time or to go in on a purchase with a local friend. The shipping costs you see are the actual shipping cost from Canada Post. I do not add any processing or handling charges.
